August Burns Red

As part of the Tooth & Nail family by way of Solid State, August Burns Red formed as high school friends in 2003. Kicking off the ‘download age’, they took the bull by the horns and brought the heat to perfect their craft, culminating with the release of their first album, ‘Thrill Seeker’, in 2005. Fast but clear guitars, spontaneous but tight drums, and loud but transparent vocals brought them to the forefront of the genre. Ensuring their message of Christ was never hidden these boys were declaring the truth with no hesitation. In 2011, their album ‘Leveler’, reach #11 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Hard Rock charts. Having to push through some persecution and skepticism along the way, August Burns Red has become one of the most successful hardcore bands on Solid State Records today.
