James Fortune & Fiya

Straight from the heart of Texas, James Fortune, and his band FIYA, have truly carved out their niche in today’s Gospel Music scene. While he is currently the Choir Director at Higher Dimension Church in Houston, he’s also signed to Gospel music powerhouse Light Records. They released their first album ‘You Survived’ in 2004 with much acclaim. From there he proved he had a great ear for pairing the right vocalist for the right song as showcased on his third album ‘Identity’. Whether it’s a live album or one he’s cut in the studio, James Fortune makes music for the whole church to sing.
